Inspector Morse, you should check out http://www.frenchcosmeticsforless.com. They sell the French/Euro versions of LRP and other brands. They are pricier because of the Euro-USD conversion factor. I am going to order my Bioderma Phoromax sunscreen from them when I run out. You can also try to order from amazon.co.uk; they have LRP UK products.

I love LRP moisturizers. My favorite, unfortunately, isn't available in the U.S.: Hydreane Riche (for winter), and Hydreane Legere (rest of the year). I'm not sure exactly what the difference is between it and the others available in the U.S., but I do prefer the Hydreane line, and I'd take it over any department store brand (and I have tried most of them). I think Hydreane Riche wins my award for most times repurchased, and next time I'm in Canada, England, or France, I'll do it again. Also, the Physiological cleanser is great, very gentle but very effective, especially in combination with a bit of exfoliating via the hot cloth method (or, I guess, a Clairsonic).

La Roche Posay kicks the ass of many high end brands, and I speak from experience. I actually see it working, and I am no spring chicken. From Erno Lazlo to my beloved Nars, they can't match the results.
