I'm really loving the Raven. I was a MAC Ruby Woo gal but it was too drying...I love the matte look but hate how it ravages your lips. This Hourglass Raven stays on all day, needing only minor touch ups after meals, but it seriously goes the distance. As with all matte lipsticks, you need to apply a lip balm or regular lip moisturizer in the evenings to rejuvenate. If you're able to stick with that routine, it's the perfect red lip.

I so wanted to love this, but it absolutely decimated my lips. Awful. Unbelievably drying on me. The packaging is amazing, tho!

Although I applaud the long-wear ability and intensity of pigment of this lip product, it has the unfortunate habit of accentuating fine lines on the lips and touch-ups can quickly turn the finish into something heavy-looking. I must say, however, that Icon is a beautiful deep berry shade (whose dupe I subsequently found in the MAC store for nearly half the price, texture notwithstanding).

I bought this in Icon (a vibrant, clear red) a few weeks ago and absolutely love it! What amazing, long-wearing formula.

Oh my!
Liquid lipstick? Somehow, that just seems like lipgloss to me.
Though I must admit, I am definitely not beauty intelligent in any way at all!

When I think about it though, liquid lipstick does sound pretty marvelous.
A matte finish, gorgeous color, and very sensible packaging?
Why yes, please don't mind me if I try that!
And yes, I would like to be in a commercial kissing a good-looking guy in a trench coat. Yes, there would be rain and yes, I would still look glamorous in spite of that. And yes, of course, it would be perfect and I would look out of this world.
Commercials ain't got nothing on me
Heehee.

But seriously, that Raven color is very fierce. I need some of that fierceness in my life!

Wow wow, I detest lipstick because of its consistency, but love anything that can stain my lips well. I'll have to look into this product. My mother is always harping "Define your mouth! A man is attracted to beautiful lips."
