To celebrate the October 23rd premiere of SkyFall, the 23rd James Bond film (and 50 years of the James Bond film franchise), Procter & Gamble releases James Bond 007 today, a cologne for men that calls itself “dangerously sophisticated” and we would describe as “musky.” The silver top of the rectangular, mesh-textured bottle niftily twists like an elaborate spy gadget to reveal an atomizer that, when pressed, releases the eau de James Bond on to the world.
What sold us, though: the vanilla and buttercream Sylvia Weinstock cake that arrived today alongside a bottle of the cologne, looking like a little granite podium topped by a larger-than-life fragrance flask (made of fondant, no less!). The only thing sweeter would've been if Daniel Craig had delivered it himself.
