Yup, I'm with you. I don't buy anything in jars anymore - the final straw was when I dropped my jar of Clinique All About Eyes in my slow-draining basin - the jar got filled up with (slightly toothpastey) water... ugh! Basically, even apart from the very important antioxidant issue mentioned, I'm too clumsy for jars!

My mum swears by Kiehl's Rose Arctica line and her skin is always luminous... since there's a lightweight version, I guess I should take her product suggestions and not put all my hopes into good genetics.

I have tried after I got a sample at Barney's last year, and honestly I don't notice a difference!

Paula is great! I always run products thru her beautypedia site.
I stay away from jars as well. Makes total sense that not only is this not just un-hygiene-wise, but you did lose the efficacy.

" moisturizing is like putting money in the bakn" ha! I like it! And live by it. I love kiehl's! I recently did some purchases of my own here in London, I am extremely happy with the products, and it's fast become one of my favorite brands!

great article. thanks for sharing. it is always nice to hear about new and up coming products to try. i do feel it's good to change things up every now and then, whether that be a brand change or product change.

I use both Rosa Arctica products and they have made my skin look amazing. My skin was good to begin with, but now it's brighter and yes, more refreshed! And there's something about that icy packaging that is so lustworthy. xx Steph HONEY & SILK

I love the original Rose Arctica - I love the balm consistency, actually - and I mix it with Seabuckthorn oil and Kama Aryurveda Oil, as well as a tiny bit of tarte Maracuja oil, and my skin has never looked better.
