Anarchy at the Met

Word on the street (/in WWD) is that the next Met Ball (aka Fashion’s REAL night out) will be fêteing the “PUNK: Chaos to Couture” exhibit. That’s right, punk rock. At the motherf-ing Met! Cue crashing drum solo.

Costume Institute curator Andrew Bolton told WWD to expect “dresses with a slight tear or gaps... punk but very subtle,” but we're sure that when the night comes around we'll see plenty of mohawks, piercings, color, and ink cruising up those carpeted stairs. At least some safety-pinned-somethings.

Dearest ITG Reader,

We're working on something new called Glossier. It's launching soon(!) and we want you to be the first to know updates.
