Olivia Kim, the VP of creative at Opening Ceremony (the store, not the event), has been having a little—or a lot of—color fun with Naomi Knights at Ion. Here's the lowdown on her recent adventure:

'Two weeks ago, I was super into the new Frank Ocean album that just came out. So I thought, 'Oooh, ocean is such a good theme for my Friday hair story!' I went to the only colorist I have ever trusted with my life, Naomi Knights at Ion Studio, and she made it happen!! I've been spending my summer in Montauk—when I have time between opening our new [Opening Ceremony] store in London—and was surfing in the pouring, torrential rain on Sunday. It was surreal, unreal, really real. But then, the 'ocean' in my hair was gone. Sad. Sea water is not a friend to hair, it turns out, and made the blue turn greyish-green. Blech. So, back to Naomi I went the following Friday, and I told her I needed something that wouldn't fade so fast and was 'cosmic.' She said, 'Cosmic galaxy.' Duh.”
