...nail art. We're calling it. (Well, this Town & Country intern called it first.) That is, if you have approximately 25 minutes to spend fitting and cutting out these Violent Lips stencils to the shape of your upper and bottom lips... But the results are kind of fantastic. Like a WAH-level nail design for your mouth. Click through to see ITG's results.

Elizabeth is wearing the deep-berry shade of the Electric Daisy design; Alexis is wearing a lighter version.

I admit I'm a little late to most trends but I've been looking at this one for months and I just can't get into it.

Thanks for sharing. I am not sure this is going to take off. Or maybe I hope it doesn't. :-)

It's great to actually see these "in person" -- been watching from afar, but I'm definitely digging the light daisy effect. The rest of Violent Lips' other products seem a bit too rave-y, though.

I don't think I would ever except for a dress-up party or something--but it's so cute and fun!

I think you would have to wear the right outfits for these. I love the look, but I'm not a fan of the temporary tattoo part; they remind me a lot of that sticker eyeshadow or whatever it was called...wasn't into those at all. Plus, if you have giant lips or lips that have a unique shape, the tattoo isn't going to fill the entire lip and it'll just look off, especially if you cut off too much or too little. And then there's the nightmare of applying it correctly (I was terrible at giving myself temporary tattoos in the 90's! lol) Great idea, but depending on what you go for (like the glitter looks), it would just be faster to apply it regularly!

We're working on something new called Glossier. It's launching soon(!) and we want you to be the first to know updates.
