The Daily Mail had a breathless report today of Kate Moss' recent run-in with physicist Brian Cox. The unlikely pair met at a party following the Olympics Closing Ceremony on Sunday night, where Moss peppered the scientist with what Cox called "extraordinarily detailed questions about the universe." We're not surprised to learn that Moss has more to say than she lets on (nor that she's evidently a cocktail-convo champ). Juergen Teller once imagined the soft-spoken supermodel as a Bobby Fischer-type in an editorial for Vogue UK, and Richard Prince cast her as one of his signature nurses for a spread in the blockbuster September 2003 issue of W, which was devoted to the muse. At the time, W creative director Dennis Freedman praised Moss' exceptional range: "She's a woman, she's a child, she's a tomboy, she's very sexual, she's smart, she's funny, she's good, she's bad." She's more than just that face.
