You don't want to rub or overtap moving the makeup around. Clean hands are key. Then if you like set with a sunscreen powder like those made by Colorescience or Peter Thomas Roth - I like translucent and recommend that. If the liquid portion of this freaks you out - just go for the powder above - but really make sure you get full coverage with the powder or it will do nothing to protect you from the sun.
