    Great Post! Love how this really shows that a bold lip can make the eyes pop out so much with light eye make-up. I feel like everyone does red lips with heavy winged lids nowadays, or a variation of it, and it mutes the face I think.

    its a red/orange one that looks great in fair skin. i wear red lipstick all year round, its perfect either with casual or more formal outfits.

    MAC lipsticks are unbeatable! My favourites are New York Apple and Rebel. The texture is so smooth, they never feel gritty on your lips. I’m going to try the two-coats-one-blot technique now!

    what’s a not so gauche “red” for caramel hued black ladies…I don’t want to look like a dance hall queen. I want to try something different from my go to nudes and beigey flesh tone pinks….I like some of the shades Rhianna and Beyonce wear sometimes….

      I use Bumble’s Surf Spray on the roots, and Bumble’s Shine lighty all over. My hair is thick and can frizz (black Asian hair) but those two combo help when I cant be bothered to use a straightener x
