I can't understand why interiors cannot be chic without displaying dead animals. It's not ok for furs either, but then at least it has a functional use.
About the hair- a picture is definitely warranted!

The birds bring memories of my visits to the salon with mother when I was 8 or 9; we were greeted by a huge and noisy bird in a golden cage; I believe it is called "cacatua moluccensis..." but it looks like the ones here have long been silenced.

What a space! Wish the peacocks were real - now THAT would impress me. I'll consider myself truly arrived when I have a house with peacocks:)
