'I love products. I’m trying to take it easy, because I can get crazy, and then my boyfriend is like, ‘This is too much!’ So I’m trying to use all the products before I buy more.

Dr Sebagh products are really nice—I just got into those. The vitamin C powder is really good. It says on the label that it’s the best way to get vitamin C into your skin. I guess when it comes in a liquid, like a cream, it just kind of expires, but this is a powder that you put into your moisturizer and apparently that’s the best way. And they have a good serum—a collagen serum. I really like that stuff. It’s expensive, so I haven’t gotten a new one yet. It just gets my skin a little more glowy. They have a really good exfoliant as well. I use this Azulene Calming Mask once in a while; it’s good to add some diversity from all the Dr Sebagh.

I don’t really wear makeup. I don’t like the feeling of it. I just put mascara on and that’s kind of it. I just got some stuff at Rite Aid, the pink and green— Great Lash. I like the pharmacy makeup. I always get stuck in that aisle…I’ve always liked looking at it. Once I found these sticker things for your nails—Sally Hansen—those were really fun to do. They’re really fun to do when you’re bored, and it’s better than painting your nails because you don’t mess up. It looks really good, very professional. I tried a zebra one that was really pretty, but I always get a little bored of it. I just like to be with my simple pink after a while. I always carry it in my purse; my friends say I’m boring, like, ‘Get adventurous!’ I think it’s called ‘Lollipop’, by Chanel. But I’ve had it forever and it’s running out. I don’t think they make it anymore. It’s really easy to make though, if you take a clear bottle and mix in pink and red, you can make it. I’ve done that before. You just take a little clear and put some colors! It’s fun! Just a few drops of red and pink. But anyway, sometimes I wear the Tarte blush—that’s a good blush—or the Stila highlighting cream. If I’m really in the mood, I’ll go for those.

I love Serge Lutens orange blossom perfume, my mom got it for me. It’s my favorite. It just smells clean. I feel like I don’t really have a sense for perfume. My mom is really good at that so she always buys me good perfume. I leave it to her. But she’s worn the same scent forever—an Egyptian musk oil. She has great taste; she used to be a stylist. But she’s a lot taller than me, so I don’t get to wear any of her clothes or shoes. She’s 5’9”, and I’m 5’5”. I don’t know how that happened. We can share beauty stuff and bags. I steal her bags sometimes. But actually my best friend’s mom gave that little Louis Vuitton pouch to me for my birthday a long time ago. I’ve had it forever. It’s nice because you’ll never get tired of it.

When I was younger, I had pink underneath my hair, and I got detention. I went to an all-girls school where you wore a uniform and pink hair was not ok. I think it said you’re not allowed to dye your hair and I thought, if it’s underneath, but no. I’ve been going to the same person for haircuts since I was thirteen. He’s really great, his name is Servando. He works at Byron and Tracey. I always chop my hair off, and then grow it long, and then chop it off. It’s like I can’t make up my mind. But I think I like it short just because I’m not really good at primping myself and stuff like that. I just roll out of bed. Usually I don’t really do anything, but if it feels kinda poofy, I’ll take whatever—cream or something—to flatten it. My boyfriend has some stuff that he uses sometimes and I’ll use that.

I’m Italian so I need to get someone to wax my eyebrows, but I’m not so good at keeping it up. Her name is Kim, she works at a place on Melrose called WAX. It’s funny because I get so much information out of her—she’ll tell me all these places to go, or the gossip in the tabloids—my boyfriend’s always like, ‘How’d you hear about this restaurant?’ and I’m like, ‘Umm, my waxer…’'
