I like the blue from NARS Rated R eyeshadow duo! On really dark skin, I use a base if I want the colour to be true; otherwise I just let the wash of blue give a gorgeous, dusty feel to the lid.

Beautiful eyeshadow. Why I am so fascinated with blue eyeshadow, I do not know. Probably because it is ill-suited to my skin tone. We always want what we can't have, right? That said, I'm wondering if there are any blues other than navy or slate which look great on dark (NC42) skin. Everything I've tried makes me look like a clown.

Me too, she is very pretty like the models of 80's and 90's. I miss seeing very good looking models on the runway and in editorials.

This is a modern way to wear blue eyeshadow. I'm a golden brown colored blk woman whose been trying to wear blue eyeshadow for years. This^^^ is the only way that blue eye shadow works on me. I saw Kelly Rolland, who is a bit darker than I am, wear blue shadow in a video, it looked very nice on her. Maybe it's not my skin color that's the problem but the undertones in my skin that don't like blue eyeshadow. Ladies I'm open to recomendations.
